Most webmasters use articles in order to gain traffic and back links to there pages for a work from home based business. Distributing articles is one of the most effective ways to promote your web site and each page of the site. Articles are distributed to the article directories which are abundant on the Internet. The articles that you create are then able to be used by other webmasters and E-zine publishers who are looking for free content on topics that they can use. When an article is created the author places a small biography box at the bottom which includes a link to their site/page. Every time the article is used on another web site you are getting a back link for your site and this can occur for a lifetime with no further work.

The marketing technique provides the most "bang for the buck" because the webmaster is getting a back link for the page from every article directory that the content is submitted to. Then any webmasters who use the content for their site will have your link on there as well. Anytime in the future a webmaster or E-zine publisher finds your article they will continue to increase your back link popularity and increase traffic to your web site. This one marketing technique which is done one time will continue to promote the site and page for a lifetime with no further work.

It becomes easy to see why webmasters consider this the best way to market a web site and how effective the technique can be for a work from home based business online. Acquiring back links can be a lot of work, this is the most effective way to accomplish the task. Of course it requires writing more quality content, but the time and efforts are well spent.
