Getting Back Links To Build A Top Home Based Business Opportunity

The previous lesson on starting a top home based business opportunity we looked at how distributing articles is the best method for increasing the back links and especially one way links pointing into our web site. Now we will look at a couple other methods to gain links into our site and help build a top home based business opportunity online. These include submitting to free online directories and searching for related web site to try and get links from.

These two methods can be a bit time consuming but once again I use some software to make things easier. The first method we will look at is submitting to directories as this is a quick and effective method for getting easy links to our sites.

There are a few methods for locating and submitting to directories in order to acquire links. The first method would be to locate directories using each major search engine. Searching for keywords such as "directory" , "directories" and "free directories" is a good place to start. You may want to try and target specific keyword topics for specialized directories such as "fishing directory" and "fishing directories".

Look through the first ten to twenty results and try to locate directories and then once you see one, click onto it and look for the "submit" or the "add URL" page in order to submit. We always want to get the exact keywords into the title and the link text when submitting to directories for the page we are working on. This theme follows for every marketing method we use in building a top home based business opportunity online. We want to go through each page of our site as we are working on it and try to find directories to locate and submit to in order to get some back links pointing into the page.

Once we create new content and add it to our web site and distribute an article to promote the page this is the next step. So search each major search engine for related directories for the keywords and topic of the page. This does not take much time and a webmaster should be able to get a few nice one way links for each page they are working on.

This method for acquiring links through directories is the most time consuming and requires the most effort. The next page will show a much better technique which is also more effective and saves valuable time.
