Acquiring Directory Links For Business Ideas For Home

I use a software for submitting to directories for all my business ideas for home whenever I first start a web site to get the link popularity going quickly. I typically submit to about 25 directories per day and each day alternate between my homepage and second tier pages. Remember the second tier pages of a web site are those that are on the menu/navbar. This help my business ideas for home flourish and fast. The software I use is just an inexpensive one that has a list of over 3000 free directories and also has a template so you can have all the information that the directories require pre filled. This enables you to just move through each and click a button to submit and saves the time of having to fill out all the forms for each directory individually.

I still use the Search It! function as explained on the last page of the lesson. The directory submitter I use is for when I start a new web site so I can get some inbound links and helps the site off to a quick start. When starting new business ideas for home it is good to get the homepage and second tier pages some inbound links as fast as possible. The search engines will pay more attention to the site and it helps to get indexed and rank better. Make sure that you continue to use the Search It! function explained in the last lesson and go through the plan as I laid out for each and every page.

The directory submitter is my third and last piece of software in my Internet marketing arsenal and looks like this:

The left column is all the directories and then some information on them. You work down the list each day and add your web site to each one. To the right is where you create the projects and save the work. When a web site is first being added you simply click the "add project" button and create a name for the project. The name I use is always my business ideas for home of the web site or just the domain name of the site I am working on. Then a page opens and asks for your name and address and basic information directories will want.

Then this screen is opened up:

Here you just type in the URL of the page you are getting links for and the categories. Next you want to add the title for the page you are working on, make sure to get the exact keyword into the title! A small description of the page you will be submitting and again getting the exact keyword into the description. Add some keywords which are related to the page topic, this will help visitors of the directory find your web page in the directory search. This will not bring much traffic and the goal of submitting to directories is only to increase link popularity and search engine rankings. The traffic which comes from these links should be looked at as a bonus. Click the "finish" button and the template is all set up.

The software will then bring you back to the main directory list and you can begin working down the list a bit each day. Make sure to alternate around the major pages of your web site. Add your homepage to 100 directories. Go back into the template and change the URL and information to the next page you will be working on. Once you have added the page to 100 directories move onto the next important page of your web site (down your menu bars or second tier pages).

Once done, move back to the homepage and add 100 more and so on. This assures that your business ideas for home get the links to take off on a fast start. After a month or two you will have a ton of one way back links coming into all your major pages.
